Karmic Last Words

Entire books have been published containing the 'last words' of characters down through history, from royalty to entertainment giants. Most utterances are short, as in “Hold My Beer”while some speak only one word but repeated many times. Some are thoughtful, some witty but most are spoken moments before death and capture those final thoughts as in the case of the distiller, Jack Daniel who's last words were, “One more drink, please.” (LINK),

Then there are those last words which are intended as a warning, or should be seen as such in the context of that person's demise, and sadly there many such warnings these days. Perhaps it is because we share thoughts, ideas, emotions and more with each other and the world electronically, so our final thoughts, should we record them, will be seen by the world and remain in the public domain for as long as there is an internet.  

Today the body-building community mourns the loss of Mr. Doug Brignole; Mr. California, Mr. America multiple times, Mr. Universe in1986 and again in 2019 when he was 60-years old. He's been a fitness writer for years and, according to his website; “Body-builder on the outside. Science nerd on the inside”

Doug passed away on or before October 14th of this year at the age of 63 while he was training for his next body-building competition. His death was sudden and unexpected of someone so fit, and no cause of death has been determined. You have read those words applied to the passing of many young people lately and although that should be a warning in itself, the last public words of Doug Brignole stand out from all others.

Doug received his 2nd mRNA injection on April 04 of 2021, eighteen months ago. He was familiar with the conspiracy theories surrounding the shots so he posted photos and first impressions on the internet to try and quell some of the public fear. Defiantly he said of the shots;

“Those of you who think the vaccine kills people can use me as a test. If I die, you were right. If I don’t die, and have no ill effects, you were wrong, and should admit it.

Better yet, you should admit that you were misled, and tell the world who misled you, so other people can benefit by avoiding those fear mongers.”  (LINK), (LINK),

 This world owes Doug Brignole a debt of thanks for allowing us to admit that we were misled, and to tell the world who misled us, so other people can benefit by avoiding those fear mongers. Rest in Peace, Doug.

Just as poignant are the 'last words' of Dr. Thomas Flanigan, a plastic surgeon from Ohio who passed away on April 27 of 2021. Like Doug Brignole, Dr. Flanigan was very public about his taking the shots and his commentary frequently poked fun at those who refuse to do so.

He received his first dose on January 06 of 2021 and joked that,

“I did it for the free orange juice. I’m pretty sure the needle was like a foot long. The good news is that I didn’t feel the microchip going in but I can hear local radio stations now.”

A month later on the 3rd of February he had his second dose injected while quipping,

“Second dose. The microchip is working just fine. My mind is slowly being taken over by the hive mind. We are just fine. Resistance is futile.”

Less than three months later Thomas Flanigan died suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 48. (LINK), (LINK),

Doug Brignole and Dr. Thomas Flanigan may have been mocking the unvaxxed in their own way but nowhere in their words is found the vitriol expressed by the likes of now deceased Canadian cardiologist, Dr. Sohrab Lutchmedial who called the unvaxxinated 'Selfish' and that he 'Would not cry at their funeral'. Later on in 2021, and obviously still angry, he tweeted that he wanted to "...punch vaccine skeptics in the face". (LINK),

In between his threats and insults Dr. Lutchmedial promoted the mRNA shots to adults and children, writing that, “The vaccine has been tested on youth and looks undeniably safe. You have a higher chance of getting into a car accident on your way to hockey practice than you do having a complication from this vaccine.”

On the 24th of October, 2021 Dr. Lutchmedial received his third dose of mRNA and died unexpectedly in his sleep two weeks later on November 08, at the age of 52.

It is impossible for me to detail all of the self-important people who have called the unvaxxed out as 'criminals', a 'danger to society' or as the late Willie Garcon of 'Sex and The City' wrote; “selfish and irresponsible”. Unlike the late Dr. Lutchmedial, I Will cry at the funerals of those who die prematurely from their choices. Some people made the choice to take the shot(s) because they thought they were doing the 'right thing', some people were coerced into it for fear that they would lose their jobs or their children to the 'state'. How can I be angry at them for that?

Even those who chose to end their lives in ignorance and anger must be lauded because of the lessons they have unwillingly taught us all.

In closing I quote a Los Angeles Times article from January 06 of this year when they said “...we must view every one of these deaths as a teachable moment.” (LINK) They were speaking of the unvaxxed at the time but as in the case of those examples given above, karma has a way of turning the tables.
